Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of 10  districts of Upper Assam (Jorhat, Majuli, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur and Karbi Anglong) wef 02 Mar 2019 to 09 Mar 2019 at Mariani (Venue).

The details of the posts are given below:

1. Soldier General Duty

Age: 17 ½ - 21 (Born betwen 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Apr 2001)

Educational Qualification: SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above however minimum 33% in each subject required.

2. Soldier Technical

Age: 17 ½ - 23 (Born betwen 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001)

Educational Qualification: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

3. Soldier Nursing Assistant

Age: 17 ½ - 23 (Born betwen 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001)

Educational Qualification: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40 % in each subject.

4. Soldier Tradesman

Age: 17 ½ - 23 (Born betwen 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001)

Educational Qualification: 10th /ITI (except for Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper who may be 8th pass).

5. Soldier Clerk /Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management

Age: 17 ½ - 23 (Born betwen 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001)

Educational Qualification: 10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths /Accounts Book keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject. Note. Even if a candidate is a graduate or has a higher qualification % marks in 12th would be applicable towards his eligibility.

How to Apply: As online registration is mandatory for appearing at the Army Recruitment rally, candidates should apply online through the link http://joinindianarmy.nic.in .

Note: Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.
