Sainik School Goalpara invites online applications from eligible and intending students for admission through All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for session 2019-20 in Sainik School Goalpara in Class VI and IX for boys only.

The details are given below:

FOR CLASS VI (6):

• Age: 10 to 12 years as on 31-03-2019 (Born between 01-04-2007 and 31-03-2009, Both days are inclusive).
• Total Seats: 110

FOR CLASS IX (9):

• Age: 13 to 15 years as on 31-03-2019 (Born between 01-04-2004 and 31-03-2006, Both days are inclusive).
• Total Seats: 20

RESERVATION:

• SC- 15%
• ST- 7.5%
• Domicile (Assam)- 67%
• Other States- Remaining seats
• Defence seats (Serving / Ex-Servicemen)- 25% of domicile and other state category

EXAMINATION SYLLABUS:

• Qualifying Marks: 25% in each subject and 40 % in aggregate. 
• Medium of Examination: (a) English for Class IX (Nine). (b) English, Hindi or Assamese for Class VI (Six).
• Examination Centres: Guwahati, Goalpara, Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Shillong & Gangtok.

SCHOLARSHIP: Rs 30,000/- for domicile children of Assam, irrespective of parental income. Scholarship for other States is as per respective State Policy.
