District & Sessions Judge, Sonitpur, Tezpur has published an advertisement inviting applications in Standard Form from intending candidates for filling up of vacant posts of Driver, Office Peon and Night Chowkidar under the establishment of District and Sessions Judge, Sonitpur,

Tezpur.

The details are given below:

1. Name of the Post: Driver

Total Post: 1 (UR-1)

Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed and up to Class XII, Valid professional Driving License.

Experience: 3 years or more

Salary: Rs. 14000 - 49,000 + GP Rs. 5000/-

2. Name of the Post: Office Peon

Total Post: 5 (UR-4, STH-1) Including 1 (one) No. of anticipated vacancy.

Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed and up to Class XII

Salary: Rs. 12000 - 37,500 + GP Rs. 3900/-

3. Name of the Post: Chowkidar (Night) 

Total Post: 1 (UR-1)

Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed and up to Class XII

Salary: Rs. 12000 - 37,500 + GP Rs. 3900/-

Age Limit for all the posts: Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2018. The upper age is relaxable as per Govt. norms.

How to Apply: Intending candidates should apply in Standard form with all relevant documents and the envelope containing application should indicate the name of the post applied for on the top in Block letters as – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________” and should be sent to the District and Sessions- Judge, Sonitpur, Tezpur.

Important Terms & Conditions:

1. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
2. Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the Registration numbers along with date must be mentioned in their applications.
3. 3. Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their application through proper channel.
4. Candidates must have passed Class VIII and up to Class - XII. Candidates, who have completed graduation or above shall be ineligible to apply for the aforesaid posts.
5. The application should be sent along with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card, Professional Driving License, Experience Certificate & Character Certificate (wherever applicable) along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side.
6. The applicant for the post of Driver must have a valid Professional Driving License (Transport) with Experience Certificate (for more than 3years)-ancl Character Certificate.
7. The applicants shall mention their Mobile Numbers in the application without fail.
8. Candidates intending to apply for different posts shall submit separate applications.
9. The eligible candidates (applying for SI. No. 2 and 3) shall be required to appear for written test, followed by viva-voce.
10. The eligible candidates (applying for SI. No. 1) shall be required to appear for skill test, followed by viva-voce.
11. The list of eligible candidates along with specific dates of interview shall be uploaded in the Official website of Sonitpur District Judiciary in due course (www.sonitpurjudiciary.gov.in). No separate call letters will be issued. Applicants are requested to refer to the official website.
12. Written test will comprise of 100 Marks followed by Viva-vote of 20 marks. The syllabus for the written test will be Assamese, English, General Knowledge and Reasoning & Aptitude. Skill test for the post of Driver will comprise of 30 Marks followed by Viva-Noce of 20 Marks.

14. No TA/ DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the Written Test / Skill Test /Interview Process.
