Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, Assam Agricultural University Campus Jorhat has published a recruitment notification inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Field Man under the ‘Cost of Cultivation Scheme’ sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India.

The details are given below:

1. Name of the Post: Field Man

No. of Post: 1 (one) [likely to increase]

Nature of post: Regular

Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate in Science /Arts/ Commerce from a Govt. recognized University and should possess PGDCA/DCA from reputed institute.

Pay Scale: Rs. 14000- 49000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700 (Revised),

Application Fee: Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order amounting Rs.300/- in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST candidates must accompany the application form in favour of “Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, AAU, Jorhat”.

How to Apply: Intending candidates may apply in Prescribed Form and submit the same along with all supporting documents so as to the Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, Assam Agricultural University campus, Jorhat-13, Assam. Self-addressed stamped (Worth Rs. 6/-) envelope, Size-23cm X 10cm should be sent along with the application form.

Note:

1. The posts are under the Govt. of India Plan Scheme entitled, “Comprehensive Scheme for Studying the Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in India” and are co-terminus with the Scheme.
2. Mere possessing the required qualification will not make a candidate eligible for the post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test.
3. No TA/DA will be borne by the centre for appearing in the test/interview, if called for.
4. Maximum age limit will be 43 years as on 01st January 2018, which is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved category as per rules.
5. In service candidates should apply through proper channel.
6. The service of the selected candidates will be governed by NPS rules.
7. Incomplete application/non submission of requisite documents and applications received late will summarily be rejected.
8. Reservation of the post will be as per Govt. norms.
9. Canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of candidature.
