National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2018-2019 For Class X (Ten) Students

National Talent Search Scheme is a flagship activity of National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT). The purpose of the scheme is to identify the talented students and nurture their talent on the basis of examination conducted. All the students studying in Class X in Govt. /Local Body/Govt. aided School/Private School are eligible to appear in the examination. The NTS Examination is conducted in two stages-

1. Stage-I: Examination is held at State level.
2. Stage II: Successful candidates (as per state quota) are eligible to appear in this level Examination which is conducted by NCERT.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2018-2019 State quota Details

Assam State quota:101 [SC-15%, ST-7.5%, 27%-OBC (NCL), PWD-4%]

Scholarship amount of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2018-2019

  1. Class XI to XII: Rs. 1250/- pm.
  2. Undergraduates and Post-graduates students: Rs. 2000/- pm.
  3. Ph.D.: To be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.

  1. Stage-I: 04-11-2018 ( Sunday )
  2. Stage-II: 12-05-2019 (Sunday)
