**Important Dates for NRC Online Correction:

  1. Online/ Offline Correction Begins: 02-01-2019
  2. Online Correction Ends: 28-02-2019

How to Make Corrections Online:


1. Login or register using your Mobile Number and Legacy Data Code (if any). One ARN - One Mobile Number. One Mobile Number - One ARN.

2. The owner of the Mobile Number will be legally responsible for any corrections/ modifications made in any particulars

3. Inform  at 15107 or 1800-345-3762 in case any mischief noticed - inability to register for your ARN or any information about misuse

4. Type in Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo using English Keyboard. Before typing in the actual text box, practice in the "ScratchPad/ Practice Area" to gain confidence

5. Select the "Click to Edit" Checkbox, place cursor in the text-box of the field and start typing

6. Corrections/ modifications made here will be accepted only after manual comparison with the Application Form. An SMS will be sent on acceptance. This process will take a few months

7. Go through the User Manual carefully before starting to use the Portal.

8. Any edit can be made only up to final submission. But after final submission and receipt generation, no further changes will be possible either through online or offline.

9. Copy/ Paste functions will not work in this Portal.

10. You can also use the virtual keyboard for typing, specially in case the intended correction/modification is not available in the suggestion list when you type directly from your machine's keyboard.

 Important Dates for submitting Claims & Objections:
  1. Receiving of Claims & Objections starts: 25-09-2018
  2. Last Date of receiving Claims & Objections: 15-12-2018 31-12-2018



As the Complete Draft NRC has been published on 30th July, 2018, the concerned authorities have given some specific timeline to submit their Claims, Objections and Corrections once the Complete Draft NRC gets published.



Citizens should submit their Claims, Objections and Corrections in specific forms which are made available to the people by the concerned authorities from 20th August onwards.


 Meanwhile, the people can download the copy of Claims, Objections and Corrections Forms by clicking on the link given below:

    In draft my name and gender is not correct.
    but in correction form there is no any option about gender,,,

      In that case you will have to contact with the LRCR of your designated NSK or the concerned authorities. They will be able to tell you about this problem more elaborately.

      Is baare mein hum kuch kehe nahi sakte. Iske baare mein aap NRC ke officeron ke saath baat kijiye. Woh log is baare mein jyada jaankari de sakte hain.
