Director of Information and Public Relations, Assam (DIPR, Assam Recruitment) invites applications in Standard Form from eligible and intending candidates to appear in a Walk-in-Interview for recruitment of Translators purely on contractual and temporary basis.

The details are given below:

1. Name of the post: Translator

• Bodo Translator: 1 Post
• Bengali Translator: 1 Post
• Hindi Translator: 2 Posts

2. Job description:

• For Bodo Translator: Translation of any matter from Assamese, English into Bodo and vice-versa
• For Bengali Translator: Translation of any matter from Assamese, English into Bengali and vice-versa
• For Hindi Translator: Translation of any matter from Assamese, English into Hindi and vice-versa

3. Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from any Govt. recognized University with Bodo, Bengali & Hindi as MIL respectively. Candidates having Certificate/ Diploma in Translation course in Bodo, Bengali & Hindi respectively from Govt. recognized institutions/ organizations

4. Desired Qualification: 

• Working experience of translation in their respective medium/ language
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
• Familiarity with translation software and DTP in their respective languages
• Time management skills

5. Salary: Rs. 15,000/- pm (Fixed)

6. How to apply: Candidates should apply in Standard Form and bring along the relevant documents in original and a set of self-attested photocopies n the day of the interview

7. Date of Interview: 08-08-2018 from 9.30 AM onwards. Candidates should report to the venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time to register their name for the Interview
