Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) recruitment of Project Scientist/ Project Engineer/ Curator/ Project Assistant posts

Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) invites application from interested Indian Citizens with minimum requisite qualification to attend a Walk-In-Interview for filling up temporary posts of Project Staff in the projects as indicated below:

1. Name of the Post: Project Engineer

• Number of Post: 01
• Name of Project: Science City, Guwahati
• Qualification: 1st Class BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute/university
• Experience: Candidates having practical experience in civil construction may provide supporting documents in support of their candidature
• Salary: Rs.30,800.00 pm + CPF (fixed)
• Tenure: 11 months
• Date & time of Walk-in-Interview: 13-07-2018 from 10.00 AM

2. Name of the Post: Curator

• Number of Post: 01
• Name of Project: Science City, Guwahati
• Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Botany /Zoology 
• Experience: Candidates having any experience in Science Communication work may give supporting documents in support of their candidature
• Salary: Rs.30,800.00 pm + CPF (fixed)
• Tenure: 11 months
• Date & time of Walk-in-Interview: 13-07-2018 from 12:30 PM

3. Name of the Post: Project Assistant (Office-Cum-Accounts) 

• Number of Post: 01
• Name of Project: Science City, Guwahati
• Qualification: B.Com. with a minimum of 50% marks in Major in Accountancy. Working knowledge in Tally is essential
• Salary: Rs.17,600.00 pm + CPF (fixed)
• Tenure: 11 months
• Date & time of Walk-in-Interview: 16-07-2018 from 10.00 AM

4. Name of the Post: Project Scientist 

• Number of Post: 01
• Name of Project: Climate Cell
• Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Environmental Science from a recognized university
• Salary: Rs.30,000.00 pm + CPF (fixed)
• Tenure: 6 months
• Date & time of Walk-in-Interview: 17-07-2018 from 10.00 AM

Venue of Interview : 

• For Sl. No. 1, 2 and 3 is Regional Science Centre, Khanapara, Guwahati
• For Sl. No. 4 is Bigyan Bhawan, GS Road, Guwahati 781005

• Interested candidates may come with application in Standard Form giving details including contact number, email, etc and submit a set of photocopies of their self-attested testimonials as per the date, time and venue as mentioned in the table above                                                          
• Original documents will be verified during the registration. Registration of candidates will be closed at 11.00 am for Sl. No. 1, 3 and 4 and for Sl. No. 2 it will be closed at 1.30 pm                 
• The candidates must be dynamic and energetic with enough voluntary zeal and inclination towards travel and hard-work                                                                                                            
• Candidates without requisite minimum qualifications and desirable qualities need not attend the interview
