Time: 9.00 AM onwards

A walk in Interview for preparing a panel of contractual/ part-time teachers/Vocational Instructors/

counselors for KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA KOKRAJHAR will be held in the Vidyalaya campus.

The candidates should present themselves with original certificates and one set of self-attested

copies of all relevant documents along with one passport size photograph.The details of the

posts are as hereunder:

1. Vacancies will be filled purely on contractual basis for a maximum period of one year or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.

2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview as well as for joining the KV.

3. Applicants are directed to download the Bio-data form uploaded on the website and bring them

while coming for the interview duly filled in and signed.

4. Eligible candidates are requested to attend the Walk-in interview along with original certificates and one set of self-attested copies of all relevant documents and one passport size photograph

5. Minimum and Maximum age limit shall be 18 and 65 years respectively.

A. Name of Post: PGT English, Hindi, Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Biology

Salary: 32,500/- per month consolidated.

Qualifications: Essential-

1. Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M. Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;

Or

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:

a) PGT (English)- English

b) PGT (Hindi) – Hindi/Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at

Graduate level.

c) PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics

d) PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.

e) PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.

f)PGT (Biology) - Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/Micro Biology/Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.

2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university

3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.

Desirable-

Knowledge of computer applications.

Relaxation of B.Ed. Qualification:

In absence of of suitable candidates with B.Ed. degree, candidates with following qualification maybe considered in different categories without B.Ed. degrees: Post Graduate with 60% marks in Science subjects and 55% in Humanities.

B. Name of Post: PGT Computer Science

Salary: 32,500/- per month consolidated.

Qualification: Essential :

At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;

1. B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India.

OR

B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University.

OR

M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.

OR

B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University.

OR

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University.

OR

‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.

OR

‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.

2. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.

C. Name of Post: TGT English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths & Social Science

Salary: 31,250/- per month

Qualification: Essential-

1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :

a) For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.

b) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.

c) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.

d) For TGT (S.St): Any two of the following:History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which onemust be either History or Geography.

e) For TGT (Maths): Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics,Computer Science, Statistics.

2) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

3) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium

Desirable-

Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Relaxation-

a) CTET Qualification:

Candidates with B.Ed will be considered in the absence of CTET (VI-VIII) qualified candidates

b) B.Ed. Qualification:

In absence of of suitable candidates with B.Ed. degree, candidates with following qualification maybe considered in different categories without B.Ed. degrees: B.Sc. with 60% marks and B.A. with 55%.

D. Name of Post: PRT

Salary: 26,250/- per month

Qualification: Essential-

1) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent

2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the Purpose.

3) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.

Desirable-

Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Relaxation-

a) CTET Qualification:

Candidates with TTC/B. Ed will be considered in the absence of CTET (I-V)) qualified candidates

b) B.Ed. Qualification:

In absence of of suitable candidates with J.B.T. qualification degree, candidates with following qualification maybe considered in different categories without JBT: Graduation Degree.

E. Name of Post: Yoga Instructor

Salary: 26,250/- per month

Qualification: Essential-

1) Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized university

2) One year training in Yoga from a recognized Institution

F. Name of Post: Educational Counselor

Salary: 26,250/- per month

Qualificaton: Essential-

1) B.A/B.Sc.(Psychology) with Certificate of Diploma in Counseling

Desirable:

Minimum of One Year Experience in Providing Career/Educational Counseling to students at schools

OR

Working knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus

OR

Registration with rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counselor

Important Note:

• Candidates should present themselves with all relevant certificates – original AND self-attested copies for scrutiny/submission
• All the above vacancies, as and when occur are purely temporary and the selected candidates will not have any claim to be absorbed as regular employees.
• Interview is to prepare a panel which will be operated for the year 2018-19 against any vacancy which may arise and being in the panel does not yield any right for appointment.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk – in Interview

• Late comers will not be entertained.
• Teachers appointed on contractual basis will not be entitled for vacation pay and during Autumn/Winter break payment shall be calculated on pro rata basis.
• Teachers will not be entitled for pay, if they remain absent on working day. In case of absence from duty, payment will be calculated on pro rata basis.
• RELAXATION IN CTET: In the absence of CTET qualified candidate, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rule
