Applications in Standard Form as prescribed in Part-IX of Assam Gazette are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizen of India for filling up the vacant Grade-III post under Directorate of  Town and Country Planning, Assam at the district office of Dibrugarh on direct recruitment basis.

Name of the post: Junior Assistant

Number of posts: 1 (One) Nos.

Reservation: Unreserved

Scale of Pay: PB-2 (Rs. 14000-49000/+GP Rs. 5600/-) per month and other allowances admissible as per rules of Govt. of Assam.

Age: 18 years to 43 years as on 1^st January, 2018. (Upper age relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 2 years in case of Ex-serviceman.

Qualification: 

1. Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University.
2. Six (6 )months Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Proficiency from Govt. recognized institute.

Mode of Selection: The candidates have to appear in a Written Test on a date which will be notified later on. Upon qualifying in the Written Test, the candidates will be called for a viva-voce and computer proficiency test.

Syllabus for Written Test: General Knowledge (30 marks), English (40 marks), Mathematics & Reasoning Ability (30 marks).

Application fees: 

1. Rs. 250/- (General) 
2. Rs. 150/- (OBC/MOBC/SC/ST) 
3. Free for BPL candidates (certificate must be enclosed in support).

Application fees should be deposited only through treasury Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0070-other Administrative Services-60-Other Services-800-other receipts”

1. Application in Standard form must be accompanied by all the educational or other qualification documents, caste certificate, Employment registration card, etc.
2. All documents should be self-attested
3. Three(3) copies of  self-attested recent passport size photographs
4. Self-addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/-
5. Original treasury challan copy
6. Applicant must mention their Email Id/ Mobile Number in the top of the Application form.
