Others:

• Nagaland

Teachers are required for the following subjects:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology (Botany/Zoology)
• Computer Science
• English
• Hindi
• Sanskrit
• Geography

Essential Qualifications:

Primary Teacher:

1. Graduate in relevant subject
2. Preference will be given to candidates having B.Ed./ D. El. Ed. degree

Secondary Teacher:

1. Post Graduate/ Graduate with Major in relevant subject
2. Preference will be given to candidates having B.Ed. degree

Senior Secondary Teacher:

1. Post Graduate in relevant subject
2. Preference will be given to candidates having B.Ed. degree

Physical Education Teacher:

1. Master/ Bachelor of Physical Education or equivalent

Painting or Fine Arts Teacher:

1. Master/ Bachelor of Painting or Fine Arts or equivalent

Music Teacher:

1. Master/ Bachelor of Music or equivalent

Librarian:

1. Bachelor of Library Science or equivalent

School Counsellor:

1. Graduate or Post Graduate in Psychology or Post Graduate in Child Development or Post Graduate with Diploma in Career & Counselling

School Band Trainer:

1. 10+2 with appropriate training in band and can himself/ herself play at least two instruments

Stages of Selection:

• Stage I- Processing of Application Forms
• Stage II- Personal Interview
• Stage III- Demonstration of Class & Evaluation of teaching skills (Only for Secondary/ Senior Secondary Teachers)
• Stage IV- Performance in three days residential teachers' orientation camp

• Last date of receipt of application forms in various centres and administrative office at Guwahati of VKV is 22-01-2018
• Interviews will be held in the month of January/ February/ March of 2018 (Tentative)
• Candidates who do not receive the call letter within 28-01-2018 may contact the Principal/ IC of School/ Centre where he/she has deposited the application form
• Finally selected candidates have to join their duty in respective schools on 31-03-2018
