ASSAM STATE BIODIVERSITY BOARD RECRUITMENT 2018/ PROJECT ASSISTANTS

Applications in prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions for a one-year project "Documentation of tradable bio-resources and associated traditional knowledge from local communities of Assam for establishing the ABS mechanism" funded by National Biodiversity Authority under UNEP-GEF-MOEFCC-ABS project.

Name of Post: Project Assistant

Number of Posts: 2 (Two)

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Science preferably Botany or Zoology Specialization

Desirable: Experience in field data collection at remote villages, PRA exercise, having identification skills of local bi-resources (both local and scientific names), data entry and compilation, report writing and working experience with communities etc.

Remuneration: Rs. 18000/month (Consolidated)

Duration: 6 months, extendable up to one year on satisfactory performance
